While I realize the Star Wars world is on top of news by the second, there are some of us who would be interested who aren’t tuned to the holonet every second. Brian pointed me to this and I LOVE the idea and I never understood why there wasn’t stuff like this and like PI stories going on in the EU all the time.
So the gist is 2009 will be bring a Star Wars horror novel, it will be written by Joe Schreiber, and it’s called Deathtroopers What all this means is that I’ve told you nothing thus far you couldn’t discern from the title of this post to begin with.

I’ve tried to make it into exactly the kind of book you’d want to read if you were a child of the 70s who grew up with the original Star Wars trilogy and really digs horror in the vein of The Shining and Alien, with a little dose of William Gibson mixed in.
