A lot of this is rehash from our last one as it’s just information we want to be able circulate every month. There is some new information though, so if you are a BSC completist read on!
New Stuff
- You can see that since last month we have tweaked some front page items with the 3 widgets. Right now we have our Best of 2008, an old school interview, and the other tends to be something random we put up. There should be at least one more major change to the front page coming relatively soon.
- You saw that our first Synergy feature came out this week. Expect the next one next month. New question, new faces, same goodness!
- We are now (as of yesterday!) on Facebook (yes, I know, about a generation behind!). Personally, it’s not my thing but for those that are on Facebook, come check us out!
- You will be seeing new columns pop us in the near future! Since last time, Brian has started The Electric Mayhem and author Sarah Zettel’s Things That Don’t Go Away.

- We are always interested in adding reviewers to our site. Want to share your thoughts on books, comics, movies, or whatever? Let us know, we’d love to have you. We have access to every notable publisher in the industry. I’m open to anything – toys, movies posters, magazines. Just run it by us. Consider actually being seen.

- Our ads are handled by a Marketing/Ad company but we have one unused spot open on our front page and will be looking to fill it in January/February. Drop us a line if you are interested!
- We are going to be making a Heliotrope Ad round-up soon. These will be in-issue and at a bargain at $35 a pop. We’ve got talent like Neil Gaiman, Paul S. Kemp, Catherynne M. Valente, Rhys Hughes, Chris Roberson, Hal Duncan, Bryan Talbot, and Lou Anders signed, sealed, and delivered with more to come!

I can’t imagine there are too many book publishers left out there we aren’t in contact with. If you are one, fire your publicist and get at us!
