This is rather old news, but just in case any of our readers somehow missed it, Harper Collins has made available for free Coraline to read!
This is such a great read that’s a clinic in how to write, horror, fantasy, and all ages fiction. Obviously, the film is forthcoming so get a leg up!

As much as I want to try and read it – no.
The format sucks.
To slow to load. To hard to navigate. Can’t scroll easy.
Note; to Harper Collins

this is the graphic adaption I can get in a convenient form.
If you would like me to read it plain text is fine.
As pointed out above by our piratical friends – don’t think it can’t or wont be copied whatever form it is in.
As boingboing said about American Gods

I have to agree with you and it’s not just limited to Harper Collins. If you are going ot put it out for free, assume you are entering the wild and just roll with the spirit of the decision itself. Certainly, whatever security issues that go through there mind should be considered, but not at the cost of WHY you put it out.
I think similarly of some that I’ve seen that make you feel like you are at a Doctor’s office in terms of info they ask of you to read or listen to a free book.
That said it’s certainly not optimal, but it’s a step.
