Year One trailer (HD)

I find Jack Black amusing and as a comic fan, you are naturally going to get my attention calling anything Year One.

This is the more like the literal Year One (as opposed to the definitive Frank Miller variety). I also tend to be a fan of Judd Apatow projects, and the cast also includes Michael Cera, Olivia Wilde, June Raphael, David Cross, and Paull Rudd. It’s directed by Harold Ramis, and I liked Ice Harvest (not to mention Groundhog Day, so this has potential to be the good kind of goofy fun.

It’s been described by Cera as, “a comedy set in Biblical times with Black’s character Zed, looking for some kind of meaning for his life.” It’s scheduled for a July release.
