Book Trailer – The City & The City by China Mieville

A bit late on a write-up for a Jan-ken-pon writing up on several novels I’ve enjoyed, but if you follow me on twitter you’ve known for months that I’ve LOVED The City & The City by China Mieville, and I think it has that Chabon/Jeff Ford potential of being a threat to grab honors in multiple genre, but beyond that I hope it gets China new readers, as the guy is simply dynamic. I saw this book trailer for the book, with China giving you the low-down on the book.

    
Good stuff by China in that video – just one of my favorite writers on the planet. I know we tend to compare authors by genre, but China is up there with people like Ishiguro and Saramago in terms of how much I personally enjoy their books.
