Clash of the Titans casting

Warner Bros. and Legendary are already casting for Clash of the Titans, which is a Greek-god epic adventure remake being directed by Louis Leterrier.

Update:  Sam Worthington  is heading this all up by playing Perseus, Mads Mikkelsen is playing Draco, leader of the Praetorian Guard, Alexa Davalos is playing Andromeda, and Gemma Arterton is playing Io.

Do we need a remake of this classic movie?  I personally do not think so, but I am sure that Warner Brothers see it as a sure hit, which is probably will be.  There is just something about the stop motion filming technique in the original that is just cool.
