Preview – Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time #0: Dragonmount (10 finished pages!)

You may remember that last month BSC presented preview pages for the pencils of Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time #0: Dragonmount. Today we have those pages and more, but fully colored/finished.

This issue is scheduled to be published by the Dabel Brothers on May 13th (click to enlarge images).

BSC – one step ahead of the game – interviewed the penciler of the series/issue Chase Conley. The series writer is veteran Chuck Dixon, and while it has nothing with WOT, I interviewed Mr. Dixon in December of last year.

I don’t know what to think… In the books everyone hated the Dragon. People told stories about the breaking of the world and would end any story about the dragon wiht a warning about him coming back to break the world again. No madness, No breaking, No kinslayer. Maybe it will grow on me but on first reading it… I disapprove.

I think the followed to the outline of the Ravens prologue more or less actually. Although I seem to remember the boys being shooed off by someone who did disapprove of the story.

I have only read the original books. I haven’t read the YA version. I had to look on google to find what prologue you were refering to. I would say I disapprove of that as well if it’s what you say. I undertand I’m one consumer amongst millions but I won’t be buying the YA versions, this graphic novel, or the video games if they fail to capture the essence of the original story.

I agree with you. I think that the will change that part before it comes out to buy.
