Shadow Hare – real crimefighter

So there is some cat in Cincinnati who dresses up in a costume and fights crime.

I don’t live in the U.S. so somebody tell me this is like a fake website/news (like the Onion or something). There are apparently more as in the ‘article’ he says:

“I’ve even teamed up with Mr. Extreme in California — San Diego — and we were trying to track down a rapist,” said Shadowhare.
