Earth Day hits CBS game show “The Price is Right” for Wednesday’s episode with environmentally friendly products. It is being said the showcase will include things like an electric bike, golf car and Toyota Prius hybrid car. Trips that are offered on the show will be paired with donations to offset carbon emissions.
I love The Price is Right, and it has always been my favorite game show, Bob Barker, Drew Carey, it does not matter. I think this is a great way to get Earth Day out to the masses (the television masses). On a side note, I always thought by offsetting carbon emissions it just meant planting a tree, but it seems wind farms, biomass energy, hydroelectric dams, energy efficiency projects, the destruction of industrial pollutants … all qualify.
