Chuck renewed by NBC

As noted at the beginning of the month, the early indication holds true, and Chuck has been renewed for 13 more episodes by NBC.

THR is reporting that with the renewal comes an agreement with a more limited budget for the show (which we’ve seen with at least a couple of renewal announcements recently). EW suggests that we will see fewer appearances by the supporting cast and possibly the complete removal of one.

We will see if they are able to maintain that Chuck charm, but I have to consider this good news.
