Dedicated to giving voice to some of today’s most talented and neglected writers, New Pulp Press focuses on off-center crime fiction and neo-pulp. Veering away from the assumption that a protagonist must be a sympathetic character, our books are centered around con-men, losers, and sociopaths.
You will find raw and desperate tales about men and women on the wrong side of the law, tales drenched with nihilism and loathing.

I recently purchased The Disassembled Man on a friend’s advice. It’s a pretty incredible read. Funny, but scary as hell. If you like Jim Thompson, you’ll probably dig this book.
These caught my eye recently. Haven’t seen any reviews. Fingers crossed that there’s a ballsy new small press doing hardboiled and noir. Like the covers.

Great prize, Brian! It’s good to see some new publishing companies emerging from the smoking ruins of the financial difficulties this country has suffered, and it’s a hopeful sign we’re on the way to recovery!
Well,if not all that, a sign that maybe some people haven’t given up hope on their chances to make a buck in the book business despite the USA’s low percentage of aults who read even one book a year…discounting all of the nice folks who contribute to and read this excellent site, of course!
