At the beginning of the month we got our first look at Neill Blomkamp’s District 9 (be sure to watch the short film, Alive in Joburg, which D-9 is based on in the above link as well – very, very, nice). Today, Sony released 3 images.

Weird thing is that 2 of these images were previously released, the third, however, is badass enough to note the release on its own. Look how the ship is presented in a way that doesn’t at all ask you to go through effort of ‘buying’ anything. The damn thing looks entirely plausible and not at all concepty (yes . . .concepty). It could be hovering above your home now, and you think it was too-low budget to be fantastic, and that is fantastic!
