Fox nabs “Target” and “Sons” for its upfront presentation for Fall schedule
Fox gets to show the stuff it has to advertisers next week and has decided to pick up two new series. (from yahoo news)
“Human Target” is series based on the DC Comics title, “Target” penned by Jon Steinberg. The synopsis is that Christopher Chance assumes the identity of people that are in danger, becoming the target instead of them. It looks like Mark Valley, Jackie Earle Haley, and Chi McBride are involved in the project.
“Sons of Tucson” is one of those single camera comedies that has a hustler type character filling in as a father for some brothers while their father server time for a white-collar crime. It should have Frank Dolce, Davic Cleveland, Troy Gentile, and Natalie Martinez involved.
I think “Tucson” sounds pretty interesting even if I am kind of worn out on the whole single camera idea. “Human Target” seems pretty eh to me based on the quick synopsis. Has anyone that has read the comic explain a bit better? Does this guy have super powers beyond being able to look like someone else?
