I couldn’t decide which was worse, the movie, or the lack of Star Trek and Harry Potter previews beforehand.

Bill, was there an Avatar trailer attached to your screening?

No Avatar. Terminator, Up, an Adam Sandler movie, and something else unmemorable. Up looks like it will be a lot of fun, but then it’s Pixar, so no surprise there.

I’ve probably seen all the Star Trek and Potter trailers out there, but it’s been a couple of months since I went out to the movies so I was hoping to see them real big. Oh well. Just a few days till Trek anyway! :)

Pretty much what I thought of it. These kind of movies usually suffer from a poor excuse for a story. This one was made even worse by the fact that the story is already pretty clear from the previous movies (even if you haven’t read the comics) and that it is hopelessly predictable. Unless you are there to enjoy Jackman’s physique it is not worth the price of the ticket.

something that would have fixed this movie in a lot of ways: making it R-Rated. Then they wouldn’t have had to try so hard to make an inherently gory story line into something that’s “fun for the whole family”

I have to completely agree with nomad. To be honest the film was a huge dissapointment considering that is was supposed to be wolverines quest for revenge when it came to the violence no-one dies no blood nothing nada i think if it was to truely untap its potential it should have been at least a 15 and then it would have made it soooo much better. The only good bits where the victor creed fights where he jumps around and claws em to death but yet again no blood means poitless story means pointless film
