2009 British Fantasy Award short list

I somehow missed this earlier, but the 2009 short list for the British Fantasy Award has been released. The winners will be announced on the weekend of the September 18-20. I just want to note that horror fans should definitely check out Rain Dogs by Gary McMahon, it’s a damn sweet little book from Humdrumming. I also think Orphanage is one of the best horror movies I’ve ever seen. I also find it odd that Edward Miller and Les Edwards (both awesome because they are the same person) are both nominated for Best Artist.
