THR is reporting that TNT’s Leverage has added Jerri Ryan to the cast as a recurring character.
Ryan will be playing a character named Tara who is described as:
…a smart-ass, street-wise con woman whom Sophie (Gina Bellman) calls on for help and who gets sucked into the Leverage family.
I guess we’ve see her the most recently in Shark, but that’s not a show I really followed because I found Jame Wood’s character to be immediately off-putting. Off course all spec-fic fans still honor Ryan for her Seven of Nine role.
Leverage returns for its second season for fifteen-episodes on July 15, 2009.
