Shia LaBeouf sat down with BBC in a video interview and talked Transformers, Wall Street II, and in the process dropped a line of info on future Indiana Jones movies.
He says quite a bit in under 3 minutes including that Spielberg told him that he (Spielberg) has the next Indiana Jones film in at least the (very) initial stages. On Transformers he says:
We are making a movie about toys, you know. This isn’t Elephant Man.
This is escapism. This is a fun movie.
Man, it’s odd that you have to feel a bit like an apologist in being a fan of the guy, but it sounds like he keeps it real in this short bit. Not too much Hollywood bullshit (which I realize is a gimmick in itself), and unapologetically offers no false pretenses for Transformers. You can watch for yourself the video at BBC.
