In April we posted a group of images from the film adaptation Audrey Niffenegger’s novel The Time Traveler’s Wife. The film stars Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams in the time travel/love story that now has a trailer.
New Line is looking at an August release in the film directed by Robert Schwentke who previously helmed Flightplan (Jodi Foster) and Tattoo.
Film Synopsis:
Clare Abshire deals with such complication when she gets herself in a passionate love affair with Chicago librarian Henry DeTamble, who has a genetic disorder that causes him to time travel.
Having known Henry since she was six years old, Clare learns from the very beginning that Henry is a time traveler and waits for the right time to build a romantic relationship with him. But, marrying Henry isn’t as easy as it looks since he often disappears for long periods of time and thus complications are bound to follow.
Picking up the theme that love knows no boundaries and transcends time and death.

Book was solid.
Just to be clear, that wasn’t me posting. :>) I haven’t read the book.
Well that changes everything. I didn’t like the book at all.
Yeah right.

I am looking forward to this movie. I read the book a very long time ago and the first time it was hard to follow. But I stayed with it and it was worth it.Book was awsome!
