Last month we got this snappy Italian poster that showed the Basterds as a group in what I think may be the best poster/one-sheet we’ve seen yet from the film. Today, Empire has debuted a quartet of character posters in the same mold, and they are (in)glorious!

Awesome! Remember, just last week we also got what was the best of the trailers we’ve seen. Just a vibe, but it feels like after some deflation after immediate reports post-Cannes, it seems like Inglourious Basterds is picking up steam gain.

Inglourious Basterds is written and directed by Quentin Tarantino and features Brad Pitt, Diane Kruger, Christoph Waltz, Daniel Bruhl, Eli Roth, B.J. Novak, Til Schweiger, Paul Rust, Michael Bacall, Omar Doom, Julie Dreyfus, August Diehl, Christian Berkel, Michael Fassbender, Mike Myers, Rod Taylor, and Cloris Leachman.
It’s scheduled to hit U.S theaters on August 21st.
This had better not be a remake of the Inglorious Bastards movie from the 70′s.
It’s not. Tarantino is certainly aware of the film and said it inspired him, but it’s no remake.
