This is on my radar because this is produced, directed and written by Guillermo Arriaga, who wrote The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada, which is one of my favorite recent movies not many people ever talk about . The real reason I’m interested in the movie is Charlize Theron.
Back on track…
He also wrote the collaborative trilogy (with Director Alejandro González Iñárritu ) that consisted of Amores Perros, 21 Grams, and Babel.
Joining Theron are Kim Basinger, & Jennifer Lawrence and I’m really interested in the latter as I think Arriaga is able to really give individuals (like Rinko Kikuchi in Babel) an opportunity to shine (even if the whole gets a bit muddled). My interest in Basinger is of course eternal because I’m a comic book fan.
