THR is reporting that USA has a new show coming (though apparently not officially) and it’s starring Piper Perabo. Ten years ago what USA was doing wouldn’t have mattered to me, but man I do love me some Burn Notice so I’m at least down for the first few episodes.
Perabo would play the lead role of Annie Walker, a CIA Trainee that has this synopsis to deal with:
Walker joins the CIA while still reeling over a mysterious ex-boyfriend who appears to be of particular interest to her new bosses. She vows never to let herself be hurt again, but that proves to be a tall order.
Perabo has been in several films, perhaps most notably starring in Coyote Ugly and in smaller roles in films like the The Prestige and Because I Said So. She also is actually in the horror film we’ve been talking about recently, Carriers, with Chris Pine.
