This has been floating around for awhile now. We noted the possibility last month after rumors started getting circulated due to this teaser from ABC. THR is now confirming the cast.
While IGN jumped on this (as noted above) I actually saw that Spoiler TV reported this last week, even naming the role ‘Theo’ (not noted in the THR release). The character of Theo Procopides is a rather important figure in the Robert J. Sawyer novel that the show is based on. We will see if that pans out! BSCreview has covered Flash Forward rather extensively, most recently posting the extended preview. Monaghan joins a cast that already includes Joseph Fiennes, Sonya Walger, John Cho, Jack Davenport, Brian O’Byrne, Courtney B. Vance, Christine Woods, Zachary Knighton, Peyton List and Shohreh Aghdashlo.
Update: Spoiler TV is now reporting that the character has been renamed to ‘Simon’.
Flash Forward premiers on September 24th at 8-9 pm (EST). It’s co-written and directed by David Goyer (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and Dark City), and is produced by Marc Guggenheim (Eli Stone).

It seems that Agent Noh (John Cho) is a proxy for Theo Procopides, as they share similar traits
