Just after getting reminded of the good in the featurette I posted couple of days, we are now back with the sobering reality of G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. It actually doesn’t seem out of place in French! This is a 4+ minute clip from the film.
In recent related news, there apparently is a second movie in the works for next Summer. I’m in an odd place right now because it seems unnatural for me not to be excited about G.I. Joe, but maybe if this thing somehow hits big we can get more Warren Ellis-styled G.I. Joe Resolute in between and other cooler projects made possible by this film being called G.I. Joe.
G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra stars Dennis Quaid, Sienna Miller, Rachel Nichols, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Christopher Eccleston, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Byung Hun Lee, Ray Park, Said Taghmaoui, Channing Tatum, and Marlon Wayans. It is directed by Steven Somers.
It will be released in theaters on August 7th.
