Marvel Studios/Comics has been rolling deep in the news lately regarding their film projects and at SDCC MTV caught up with Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje who reveals he’s in talks with Marvel to play Black Panther.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m feeling a Black Panther cameo in a Captain America movie–hell you could have squeezed him in Iron Man II (by now too late, I know) as the Wakanda (where BP is from) is a technological powerhouse. I’m a Lost fan and I think Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje would be ideal,and he seems to really want it, so I dig this (very early) speculation.
Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje is Mr. Eko in Lost and was also in HBO’s Oz. His film credit include The Bourne Identity, The Mummy Returns, and the forthcoming G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.
