At SDCC, Lee Unkrich, the director of Toy Story 3 (who also had a hand in Toy Story 2, Monsters, Inc., and Finding Nemo) has confirmed that Michael Keaton will be voicing ‘Ken’ in Pixar’s return to the blockbuster franchise. This is a return to Pixar for Keaton, having voiced the role of in Cars (Chick Hicks).

Unkich’s announcement revealed a larger role for Barbie in Toy Story 3:
“Barbie is back, and this time she plays a bigger role. So naturally we had to bring in her companion Ken this time”
Jodie Benson voiced Barbie in Toy Story 2.
It’s always fun with Pixar. Already we’ve had a (semi) cryptic reveal of a villain and a teaser trailer.
Can’t wait for this!
Along with the Keaton announcement Toy Story 3 returns Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Wallace Shawn, Don Rickles, Estelle Harris, John Ratzenberger and Jodi Benson, and is scheduled to hit us next Summer on June 18th, 2010.
