According to the Baltimore Sun Joss Whedon retains another of his dolls, as Miracle Laurie told the paper that she would be back for the second season of Dollhouse to reprise her role as Mellie.
She tells the Sun:
“All I know for sure is that I’m coming back next season,”
“I don’t actually know in what form I’ll be back. The writers are kind of teasing me , everybody knows but me.”
Dollhouse returns to Fox for its second season on Friday, September 25th at 9/8c (remember it was pushed back a week from the originally announced premier date). It stars Eliza Dushku, Harry J. Lennix, Fran Kranz, Tahmoh Penikett, Enver Gjokaj, Dichen Lachman, and Olivia Williams.
Back in the day when I was covering Dollhouse I had all sorts of issues with Miracle. I do not think she is that great of an actress (even with her role as a doll) and she really was not that great of a looker to play the love interest. Bleh all around.
Well that’s impressive.
Great news! Loved her in season 1 & was a little disappointed they seemed to have written her out.
