Several sites reported that Terry Pratchett’s Going Postal was going to be adapted by Sky yesterday– which was actually reported as early as May. What did come out was a pretty comprehensive cast listing which get the Poirot fan in me all excited!
Starring will be Richard Coyle as Moist Von Lipwig, David Suchet ( the Poirot!) as Reacher Gilt, Charles Dance as Lord Vetinari, and Claire Foy as Adora Belle Dearheart. Also included in the cast are Steve Pemberton as Drumknott, Andrew Sachs as Groat and Tamsin Greig as Miss Cripslock.
I think that Going Postal may be the finest of Terry Pratchett’s Discworld novel and is a great choice to follow up the previous productions of his Hogfather and The Colour of Magic.
