Recently there were a lot of set photos for this film, but I tend to find that those are usually repetitive (and boring-at the end of the day picture a bunch of horses in a field with one guy you recognize). Excluding those the last news we reported from the Ridley Scott, Russell Crowe starring Robin Hood film was the casting of the role of the Sheriff of Nottingham with Matthew Macfadyen in April. Now we have our King Richard.
Danny Huston is in a lot of good and/or interesting movies. Not out yet, he’s in The Warrior’s Way (sweet trailer) and the upcoming Clash of the Titans. Previously he has had roles in films like Leaving Las Vegas, The Kingdom, The Constant Gardener, 30 Days of Night and was Samuel Adams in the HBO mini (that’s when I remembered who he was!)
Scott’s Robin Hood project will also stars Russell Crowe, Cate Blanchett, and the aforementioned Matthew Macfadyen. It’s scheduled for a March 2010 release.
