Drake has signed a deal with the Nightingale Company to develop a comedy series titled Us & Them. He brings with him his Degrassi: The Next Generation colleague, Mazin Elsadig. The show will be based somewhat on the real life events of the two buddies who are a contrast of each other, yet at the same time compliment each other. It is a satire of the entertainment industry and Aubrey and Mazin’s place in it. While they may disagree in this show they are bound together by their catch phrase “It’s Us & Them.” Drake has really been killing it lately in the music world and has recently signed with Lil Wayneʼs record company Young Money Entertainment.
Drake seems like one of those talents that could pull a Will Smith on us and do the music and acting thing at the highest level on both accounts. Us & Them seems like a younger version of Entourage, and I love that premise. Problem is that Nightingale is a Toronto based company, so will we ever get to watch it?
