David Slade’s entry into the Twilight franchise has announced another addition to the cast. According to Risky Biz Blog Summit Entertainment has cast Catalina Sandino Moreno, an Academy Award nominated Actress (Maria Full of Grace) in the third Twilight film, Eclipse.
According to THR her role is will be ofMaria, the vampire who sired and used take part in nasty shenanigans with Jasper Hale.
Just yesterday I noted the addition of Jack Huston, which followed up last week’s cast of Jodelle Ferland. Announced earlier were the additions of Australian actor Xavier Samuel, and some good old controversy with the whole Summit/Entertainment/Bryce Dallas Howard/Rachel Lefevre debacle.
Eclipse begins shooting next week in Vancouver and is scheduled to hit theaters on June 30, 2010.
