A couple of days ago we reported that Rosario Dawson had joined Chris Pine and Denzel Washington in the next Tony Scott film Unstoppable. Now, via THR we know more about her role and the additions of two more to the cast in Jessy Schram & Kevin Dunn.
Dawson’s character will be as a train dispatcher assisting Washington and Pine in trying to stop a runaway train carrying toxic material (I know, meh). Schram will be Pine’s wife, and Dunn will be Dawson’s supervisor. Veronica Mars fans may remember Schram as Hannah Griffith. Dunn is perhaps most recently known for being the dad in the two recent Transformers films and Samantha Who?, but I always remember him for a single episode of Seinfeld.
Film Synopsis for Unstoppable:
Unstoppable is about a runaway train carrying a cargo of toxic chemicals. The film pits an engineer and his conductor in a race against time. They’re chasing the runaway train in a separate locomotive and need to bring it under control before it derails on a curve and causes a toxic spill that will decimate a town.
Unstoppable is set for a November, 2010 release.
