As reported from THR.com, Unknown White Male will have a star, Liam Neeson. This Dark Castle and Warner Bros. thriller is being directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and Joel Silver is producing. The script was written by Karl Gajdusek and features Neeson as a doctor who ends up in a coma while visiting Berlin. Once he comes out of the coma he finds out he has been replaced by another man who has some pretty bad ideas on what to do with Neeson’s life. Neeson must uncover the truth of what is going on and there is the movie plot.
Seems like I have watched this before, or at least the same premise somewhere. While it is really not all that interesting to me from a story standpoint, Liam has been rolling along lately, really throwing himself into his work to keep busy. Maybe he can do something special with the character and push it over the top.
Shooting for the film should start sometime in January in Berlin.
