At their Television Critics Association press tour NBC has confirmed their previous assertion that Chuck would not return until after next year’s Winter Games.
This squashes rumors of an earlier start to show’s third season, a possibility speculated by fans and perhaps fueled by comments from various people involved with the show as production for the seasons starts this month. When Chuck does return, it is scheduled for 13 episodes, but Angela Bromstad (the President of NBC Entertainment) did mention the possibility of the show’s extension to the Summer. For new we are left with the sweet poster from SDCC.
That basically means that if you watch what they put out and quit leaving fun television hanging at at-risk rating, they will probably give you more.
Chuck stars Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski, and Adam Baldwin and should never have been in the discussion of being canceled.
