Nicole Kidman will be joining Project Runway regulars Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia for a special edition of the Lifetime show called Project Runway: All-Star Challenge. Associated Press is reporting that Nicole will help set up a design contest for eight top contestants from previous seasons of the show. This special will air this Thursday at 8 pm EST before the sixth season of Project Runway kicks off.
I think these All-Star type shows for reality television are actually decent as it gives the writers and producers a way to bring some celebrities on the show for a little promotion. I think it works much better than trying to base a show around celebrities and then only being able to garner B list and below for the show. Nicole is still looking very sexy in 2009, should be interesting what sort of contest she sets up.
On a side note it was pretty fun to see Tim Gunn make an appearance on Drop Dead Diva recently. Good ole cross promotion.
