Patton Oswalt in Battlestar Galactica: Caprica

When the next (or first) chapter of Syfy’s BSG saga hits the small screen with Caprica, their Battlestar Galactica prequel, it will include comedian Patton Oswalt among its cast.

According to THR, Oswalt character will be that of a popular Caprican comedian talk show host, Baxter Sarno. While the (extended) pilot has already appeared on DVD (April) the show itself will start on Syfy on January 22, 2010. Oswalt is a stand-up comic who has been in several films and television shows, recently starring in The Big Fan.
