Earlier this week we got a trailer for Peter Jackson’s adaptation of Alice Sebold’s novel The Lovely Bones. Before that we made due with some images, but now we get a behind the scenes sneak peak in the form of a featurette.
We have some Rachel Weisz and Mark Wahlberg talking story, Jackson chiming in on Sebold’s source material, and the importance of the casting of the child actor in the film, Saoirse Ronan (which I commented on previously). The Lovely Bones stars Saoirse Ronan. Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci and Michael Imperioli. The Lovely Bones hits theaters on December 11, 2009.
