A preview is up for next week’s episode of HBO’s True Blood has hit the web, the ninth of its second season. This one is called I Will Rise Up.
Episode Synopsis:
A wounded Eric plays Sookie for a sucker, to Bill’s dismay, and ends up getting inside her head. Later, Sookie and Jason bond over their recent adventures. Blaming Eggs for Tara’s bruises and bizarre behavior, Lafayette and Lettie Mae try to figure out a way to pry their kin from Maryann’s clutches. Hoyt defends his relationship with Jessica to Maxine, to no avail. Jailed by Bud along with a group of Bon Temps revelers, Sam looks for a way to escape and avoid capture by an increasingly obsessed Maryann. In Dallas, Eric and the vampires defend their recent actions to Nan Flanagan and are shocked when Godric decides to take the fall for their PR disaster.
I Will Rise Up will air August 16th, 2009 on HBO.
True Blood is based off of the The Southern Vampire Mysteries novels of Charlaine Harris.
I loveee True Blood. Fatastic book series, fantastic show.
I was left with my tongue hanging out last episode, and now i’m craving morreee.
No Eric in the season 2 finale according to the imdb cast list. Am I the only one concerned by this?
This episode was the best ever. I nearly cried at the end! True Blood has certainly made a huge leap in story lines for this one and I think that that ending was absolutly fantastic; heart-wrenching, but utterly brilliant. True Blood is certainly a very hard act for other vampire shows to follow. Allan Hyde’s performance in the last scene deserves an award. Utter brilliance…
