A lot of kinda sorta to follow. According to THR, Maggie Grace is ‘in negotiations’ to join Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz in a project being called Wichita, which may not actually be the name of the film. So basically, an actress might be in a movie that might not have a name. Such is our love for former Lost cast, we’ll join the cool kids and report it as news (albeit a bit late).
Maggie Grace is set to come on board the James Mangold (3:10 to Yuma, Walk the Line; Girl, Interrupted) directed project, described as a spy thriller. The synopsis is reported as follows:
The project centers on a lonely woman (Diaz) whose seemingly harmless blind date suddenly turns her life upside-down when a super spy (Cruise) takes her on a violent worldwide journey to protect a powerful battery that holds the key to an infinite power source.
Grace will play Diaz’s sister in the film. She was Shannon Rutherford on ABC’s Lost. You also may have seen her in The Jane Austen Book Club, the adaptation of the Karen Joy Fowler bestseller, and in Taken.
