Kathy Najimy is going to be guest star in an upcoming episode of Desperate Housewives. She will be playing a police officer and has a connection to Susan’s past that will crop up. Susan suspects that Katherine was the one who attacked Julie so she enlists a police officer to help her Marc Cherry, Despereate Housewives creator, tells us.

The Nerd of Noir offers his take on Vertigo Crime’s launch title, Filthy Rich. He also sound off the seemingly muddled aims of the imprint which is something I commented on as well. Word ’round the campfire is that he’ll soon be offering his thoughts on Dark Entries too.

Last week we posted a featurette from Entertainment Tonight that was an on location visit to the production of Iron Man 2, and featured bits with most of major players. Now it seems they’ve pulled some more focused pieces from members of the cast, and this one is about 4 minutes with Scarlett Johansson, who as I think everybody knows, has been cast as the Black Widow.

On his old, now defunct and no longer existent site Victor Gischler conducted a series of interviews from the end of 2004 to mid-2005. With his permission BSC will be reprinting his World’s Worst Interview series over the next few days. Sometimes the internet feels temporary and good content gets lost or forgotten in the rush forward. When possible we want to blow the dust off of something and bring it back to the front. Three masked men invade the home of a drug dealer, kill two people, and steal a large sum of money. Reviewing the security cam footage, Sam identifies one of them as Holgate, a former SEAL he knows personally. Looking further into Holgate’s team, Sam and Callen discover one of the members—Ramirez—was recently killed by drug dealers, and another—Jackson—went missing on the same day.

This episode opens with a stripper walking in on what she thinks is a bachelor party to find three dead men. From their shaved heads, it looks as if they were Marines, but the stripper tells NCIS one of the dead men hired her, and had hair at the time. Furthermore, the team discovers the “bachelor” at the party wasn’t actually getting married.

A while back I caught wind of the fact that the Paper Mill Playhouse would be putting on Little House on the Prairie as a musical starting in September, starring Melissa Gilbert as “Ma and directed by Francesca Zambello (director of Disney’s The Little Mermaid on Broadway). The East Coast premiere of this new musical was something that I needed to make sure got on my calendar for BSC Review. A few emails later, and the wife and I were on our way to the show over at the Paper Mill Playhouse.

Tomio back with another BSC guest spot, where we bring the talent to come in and talk about whatever they want. I’ve been meaning to tell Maria (one of our contributors here) about this book ever since I saw this cover (and whoever has been handling Orbit covers/design lately has just been doin’ it lately–there is an Imperial position open) as I know she has to dig on this cover! Soulless (out this week!) caught my eye, so I contacted Gail Carriger to see if she’d be interested in taking a break from her duties at the Parasol Protectorate so she could visit the BSC. A few broken umbrellas and some injuries to BSC agents later, she agreed to drop some brief thoughts on outlines at the BSC Deathstar.

Earlier today I posted some clips for upcoming appearance by Tyra Banks and Hilary Duff in CW’s Gossip Girl, and now we have some news on a new recurring character. Kevin Zegers is joining the cast, and according to THR, for multiple episodes.
