True Blood‘s season ends (see our review) and HBO’s hit show is still making news. This time it’s with some season 3 casting coming from EW, as veteran actor Denis O’Hare has been locked in as a regular for next season.
O’Hare’s role is that of Russell Edgington, described as king of Mississippi (novel readers probably know more) and will appear early next season. O’Hare is a Tony Award winning actor (Take Me Out). He also has held supporting roles in what I would call pretty decent films with appearances in Milk, Michael Clayton, Half Nelson, and Charlie Wilson’s War.
True Blood returns to HBO for Season 3 in (around) the summer of 2010.
