The CW is bringing backing O.G. cast member Heather Locklear back to Melrose Place. That’s right, this November Amanda Woodward returns, and to quote CW themselves, The Bitch is Back!, which continues previous matter-of-fact enthusiasm/promos that we’ve seen before for the show.
HEATHER LOCKLEAR TO REPRISE HER ROLE AS AMANDA WOODWARD ON THE CW’S “MELROSE PLACE” BEGINNING TUESDAY NOVEMBER 17
Heather Locklear will reprise her role as scheming vixen Amanda Woodward of MELROSE PLACE which airs Tuesdays (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on The CW. Locklear will make her debut appearance on the show Tuesday, November 17.
“We’re ecstatic to have the chance to bring Amanda Woodward back to MELROSE PLACE” said executive producers Todd Slavkin & Darren Swimmer. “Heather’s involvement in the show is something we’ve been working on for some time as we couldn’t imagine creating and producing this show without the iconic character’s inclusion.”
Locklear joined the popular 1990s series of MELROSE PLACE at the end of season one and stayed on throughout the series’ successful seven-year run. She joins original castmates Laura Leighton, Thomas Calabro, Josie Bisset and Daphne Zuniga in the updated version for The CW.
Hope Heather Locker’s return can save the show….this show has been great so far, and last night’s episode was the best yet. I couldn’t believe it when I read on Perez Hilton that the ratings are taking a big dive which is so stupid because this show is just getting better…so come on people stop being so LAME!
I was so glad they had Taryn Manning guest star last night – love her! She even pulled a gun on Jonah as they played the Boomkat song “Run Boy” – it was so great. There’s some videos of Taryn and company doing dance rehearsals for the Melrose Place episode floating around on YouTube ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Im5HQAO5yM ). Makes me so envious of her dancing…*sigh. Bring Taryn back for more episodes and let’s make Heather a full-time, permanent cast member again!
