The NY Times has ran a feature called Magical Mystery Tour dealing with the art direction of the upcoming Spike Jonze adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s Where The Wild Things Are. Where the Wild Things Are is scheduled to hit theaters on October 16th and stars Catherine Keener, Max Records, Mark Ruffalo, Lauren Ambrose, Chris Cooper, James Gandolfini, Catherine O’Hara and Forest Whitaker.
