CSI: Miami’s 8th premiered premiered last week and the next time we see an episode we will see the newest regular joining the cast in the form of Omar Miller. THR is reporting that Miller was originally slotted for a guest role, but CBS has picked up his option for the season.
Benson will play the role ‘Walter Simmons’, described as a Louisiana native and art theft specialist who transfers over from the night shift. He was recently in the now canceled Eleventh Hour (CBS) and is set to be in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, a film that stars Nic Cage and Monica Bellucci.
