A bit late on this, but a couple of days ago I saw Empire report that the voice of Timothy Dalton would be heard in Toy Story 3. This was announced at the recent Disney Animation Showcase in London by John Lasseter, Disney Animation/Pixar bigwig.
Dalton will be voicing Mr. Pricklepants, a character described as a hedgehog toy with thespian tendencies.. Pixar is always fun when we are talking build-up to their movies. Beyond the industry leading quality that their films consistently achieve, they know how to make marketing fun, and their is huge anticipation from easter eggs, and even their short films that accompany their features. Earlier in the year we posted about a new character/villain for Toy Story 3 appearing in an Up teaser (which we updated later). Previously we’ve also reported that Michael Keaton will be voicing Ken (of the Barbie power couple), and posted the official teaser trailer.
Toy Story 3 returns Tom Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Wallace Shawn, Don Rickles, Estelle Harris, John Ratzenberger and Jodi Benson, and is scheduled to hit us next Summer on June 18th.
