Enough talking about mysterious mothers in the show! According to EW, Chris Elliot joins the recent mob of guest stars announced for the show, following recent news of Tim Gunn and Rachel Bilson appearances.
Elliot is reportedly cast as Lily’s (Alyson Hannigan) father, and will reportedly appear in the Thanksgiving themed show airing on November 23rd.
There was a time when it seemed like Elliot was everywhere on, but I can’t recall seeing him since There’s Something About Mary (you also have to dig anything Groundhog Day related)
How I Met Your Mother stars Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan, and airs on CBS.
