Talk about a secretive episode! Everyone was hiding something from someone in typical Desperate Housewives fashion. But obviously everything won’t stay secret for long.

And breaking it down by the ladies again.
Gaby: Welcome back, John. Well sort of. Clearly Jesse Metcalfe doesn’t have a whole lot going on that he’s back for a third stint on this show, oy. At first I was glad Gaby stood up to Carlos’s accusations of her feelings for John still lingering, but at the end when she pulled out the photo booth picture she still kept of her and John hidden, I wasn’t so glad. Seriously, can we get past John? And now Ana’s in love with him!? Oh goodness. That’s just awkward, and I hope this will pass soon!
Lynette: Okay, telling the kids was probably one of the funniest scenes of the whole episode. Loved their reactions, especially Penny’s, “if they are boys, I’m leaving!” On top of that, Lynette gets a promotion because the other woman in contention for the spot is pregnant, ba dum ching! Bring on the hidden pregnancy drama for Lynette to Carlos for the rest of the season, er…or maybe just a few episodes until a bump starts to show. And the dinner scene, Tom getting drunk was pretty funny even if I totally saw it coming from the beginning.
Bree: Oh, Bree, you do not wear jealousy well, have you been hanging out with Katherine lately (speaking of Katherine, where was she this week? Off plotting her next crazy move against Susan and Mike perhaps?)? But really, it’s quite cute how Bree likes Carl and he likes Bree; just stinks everyone is making them (especially Bree) feel bad about it.
Susan: Speaking of crazy, you almost outshone Bree and Katherine’s tactics this week by almost squishing Danny to death! It was almost too obvious that Danny didn’t strangle Julie, but I can’t really blame you for being a concerned mom. And I gotta say, I was glad the way the episode ended with Susan helping Angie clean up her yard, quite the apology.
Angie: Changing names multiple times? Bringing out a bat at Susan? Gun in the drawer (which of course will be used some point this season)? Yeah, I’d say she’s part of a sketchy family. But at least she is still a caring mom and standing up for her son.
That’s about all there was this episode; I was expecting a bit more from the ladies (especially two of my favorites Mrs. McClusky and Katherine). But I am quite curious to see more into the investigation of Julie’s attack and Ana and John’s “love,” for sure.
