Hi Bryan, Thanks! And thanks for pointing that out about the names. I confess to being unfamiliar enough with the different pre-packaged delicacies that I couldn't remember the name correctly, and I thought Wichita called him Florida. But maybe it was just her who did?

As far as the scare factors--you're right, there were a couple jumpy places. But those, to me, are different than an actual tense situation where you really don't know if they're going to make it out. That kind of dead-end entrapment is to me a hallmark of zombie movies, and this didn't really have it. The jumps were followed by a quick dispatchment of the threat, and so there was only that moment of adrenaline not the entire scene-long heart-pounding anxiety. So that's what I meant by that. :)

Glad to hear from someone else who enjoyed this one! I agree that it's a fresh take on the zombie movies from days gone by, and definitely one with a good production value. It's like somehow it took itself seriously as a production without doing so as a movie...

Nice review. However there were several jump moments that had me out of the seat, so there is just a much scare as Shawn of the Dead. Plus Woody's name is Tallahassee NOT Florida and those were Snow Balls in the truck not Ho-Ho's (hence the coconut crack and the fact that they were pink too)....

A great zombie movie! Leave behind the Z-movies of the 70's and 80's and give us well acted, gruesome and funny well acted movies!
