BSC approved Victoria Beckham will ‘reportedly’ be joining Blake Lively and Leighton Meester and the rest of the Gossip Girl cast in a future episode. It’s certainly possible as the show draws a lot of high profile guest stars (Hilary Duff, Tyra Banks, and possibly Lady Gaga) and is a good fit, but my only trepidation (see question mark!) here is what seems to be the original source of the ‘news’, one that I’ve found isn’t always correct (and a lot of publications are quoting only that source directly).
Beckham once said this to Elle about CW’s show:
’I’ve done Nip/Tuck, Brothers & Sisters, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice. Then I got into Gossip Girl. I’m beyond obsessed with that show.’
Taken at face value the report indicated that the appearance will be a one-shot deal for Beckham, who will be playing herself.
