How I Met Your Mother has been collecting some great casting announcement material lately. We are talking Rachel Bilson, Chris Elliot, and Tim Gunn. We now have a hot set of bookends as TV Guide is reporting that JoAnna Garcia has just landed a guest spot on the show.
Garcia is set to play the role of “Maggie”, Ted’s (Josh Radnor) college friend. The report describes her as:
…perfect girl next door who every guy wants to marry as soon as he meets her.
She will appear in an episode called ‘The Window”, which airs on December 7th. We’ve seen Garcia starring in in CW’s Privileged and guest starring in Gossip Girl. How I Met Your Mother stars Josh Radnor, Jason Segel, Cobie Smulders, Neil Patrick Harris and Alyson Hannigan, and airs on CBS.
