BSC-approved Kristen Bell has been cast in Steven Antin’s Burlesque to play the rival of Christina Aguilera’s character in the film. According to THR, Bell will play the role of ‘Nikki’, joining the already cast Cher and Stanley Tucci.
According to the report Bell will be “the loose-cannon lead dancer and main attraction at the club who spirals out of control when Aguilera’s character suddenly gets the spotlight.” Marvel could cast Bell as Ultimates Captain America or the Max version of Punisher and I wouldn’t be mad. Antin was in The Goonies, thus is given the BSC lifetime pass.

The film is shooting for a Thanksgiving 2010 release.
